Sam is a baby who Departed on October 14. He is the first character seen on the series. He was in a car seat in the back of his mother's car in a laundromat parking lot. Shortly before he disappeared, he stopped crying, seemingly looking up at something intently, but then resumed crying again briefly before Departing. ("Pilot")
