Liv Tyler burst onto the scene with a stunning performance in Bernardo Bertolucci’s coming of age classic, 'Stealing Beauty.' Following her breakout role, Liv made an indelible impression in the cult hit 'Empire Records' and drew international acclaim in the blockbuster trilogy 'The Lord of the Rings.' She followed up with notable turns in 'That Thing You Do!,' 'Inventing the Abbotts,' 'Armageddon,' 'The Strangers' and 'The Incredible Hulk.' She also found success with the cult indie 'Robot & Frank,' which debuted to rave reviews at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, as well as the space romp 'Space Station 76' and Carter Smith’s film debut, 'Jamie Marks is Dead.' On the small screen, Tyler is set to reprise her role as Meg Abbott on season 2 of HBO's 'The Leftovers.'
Tyler recently concluded an eight-year run with Parfums Givenchy as the face of their skincare, cosmetics and fragrance lines. Born in New York, Liv was raised in Portland, Maine, until the age of 12 when her family returned to Manhattan. She began modeling at age 14 and was seen in numerous print ads and television commercials before transitioning into acting. Tyler currently resides in New York City with her family.
