Carrie Coon plays Nora Durst in The Leftovers.

Carrie Coon is one of Hollywood’s most sought-after and engaging talents. Since beginning her career in acting, she has already fostered an impressive body of work in film, television and theatre, including a Tony Nomination for her performance as Honey in Broadway’s ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’

Coon currently stars as Nora Durst in ‘The Leftovers,’ based on the bestselling novel by Tom Perrotta. Her other television credits include ‘Intelligence,’ ‘Ironside,’ ‘Law & Order: SVU’ and ‘The Playboy Club.’

Coon recently starred in the highly critically-acclaimed Twentieth Century Fox feature film ‘Gone Girl,’ opposite Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris. Based on the bestseller by Gillian Flynn, Coon stars in the role of Margo “Go” Dunne, Nick’s (Affleck’s) twin sister.

She also recently starred in the off-Broadway play ‘Placebo’ as Louise, a PhD candidate working on a placebo-controlled study of a new female arousal drug. As her work in the lab navigates the blurry lines between perception and deception, more and more these same questions pertain to her life at home. With uncanny insight and unparalleled wit, this affectionate comedy examines slippery truths and the power of crossed fingers.

Her many additional theatre credits include ‘The Diary of Anne Frank, ‘Our Town,’ ‘Three Sisters,’ ‘The March.’ ‘The Girl in the Yellow Dress,’ ‘The Real Thing,’ ‘Magnolia,’ ‘Bronte’ and ‘Anna Christie.’
